Add programmatic "copy" curve for VIEW

The user interface allows you to copy a curve in VIEW, but not the programming methods (like exist in REPORT).  I'd like to be able to "copy" a curve just like I can in REPORT.

I heartily support this idea!  There are two many curve properties, even in VIEW, to try to keep track of all of them and set them after creating a new curve.  Copying a curve would be very valuable in VIEW.

The idea itself sounds logical, although I don't personally use DIAdem, so I will add a kudos as well.
