Hi,
Might be a stupid question, but as I am new to this I'll have to ask anyway.
I've installed LabVIEW (15) on my computer, and I am trying to make some tests using the PDQ80A sensor with my NI USB-6009 DAQ-unit.
From the specification on the sensor, it says -5 to -15 V on one of the ports. How am I supposed to do this with my DAQ-unit, as it only sends 0 to 5V singnals, according to the DAQ assistant. Is it even possible to make measurements from the given sensor with this DAQ-unit?

Seems like the DAQ-unit only outputs 0 to 5V. Fair enough, but would this setup help me solving my problem as I could be outputting both +10 and -10 V with two of these setups?

Hi Andreas,
If you are trying to take measurements, ie read values from the sensor, it should be Analogue Input that you are using, which the USB DAQ device is spec to within your sensor's ports, see attached screenshot.
Kind regards,
