Hello All!
I'm trying to figure out how to change the output voltage from 5V to 3.3V in DAQexpress on a PCIe-6509. I'm new to this and there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. It appears I need to make a VI, drag the task into the Diagram window, and then change the logic family to 14621.
I can't seem to find the pull-down menu in the VI to do this. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey TechL,
I took a look at the device specifications for the PCIe-6509.
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372117c.pdf
Page 27 indicates that a digital output high can be anywhere between 3.4-5.5 volts
Because this is a digital device you do not have the ability to configure the voltage output level.

Hello Salpathare,
Can the DAQmx Power Up States be implemented in DAQExpress? On this page here it appears that changing the logic family may solve my problem.
Thanks,
TechL

According to page 22 of the document.
"You can program the DIO lines on the NI 6509 to power up at a predefined state: input, high output, or low output. Programmable power-up states ensure that the NI 6509 powers up in a known state."
There are not any states to set levels.
