PC-TIO-10 under LabVIEW7.1

hi

i am using an PC-TIO-10 card. i used LabVIEW 6.1 without any problems. Now i upgraded to LabVIEW 7.1. The card is not supported by the DAQ 7.x. drivers anymore. So i want to use the DAQ 6.9.3 driver. i have problems installing this DAQ driver under LabVIEW 7.1 so that it is recognized and i can use the daq VIs in the functions palette.

i tried installing LabVIEW without the DAQ 7.x. drivers and then installed the daq 6.9.3 driver. The problem is that there are no DAQ VIs in the functions palette, so i cannot use the device. However, it does work in the measurement explorer.

i need some advice how to install the driver correctly

thanks for your help

Hello,

please follow the following steps:

-first of all unistall your daq-drivers
-install the DAQ-driver 6.9.3 and select LV 6.1 (LV 6.1 does not have to be installed)
-I guess LV 7.1 is already installed otherwise install it without the drivers.
-Copy the following files:
...\LabVIEW6.1\vi.lib\daq\ to ...\LabVIEW7.1\vi.lib\daq\
...\LabVIEW6.1\examples\daq\ to ...\LabVIEW7.1\examples\daq\
...\LabVIEW6.1\help\lvdaq.chm to ...\LabVIEW7.1\help\lvdaq.chm
...\LAbVIEW6.1\menus\default\daq\ to ...\LabVIEW7.1\menus\default\daq\

this should work!

Kind Regards
