NI 9401 running multiple Large Range with 2 counters

I'm using a NI 9401 to measure two counter flow meters, which operate anywhere from 2kHz to 20kHz. I'm using Large Range, but would like to use just 1 NI 9401. My understanding is ctr 0 is paired with ctr 1, and ctr 2 paired with ctr 3? Well anyways the error is that the resource is reserved when starting the task. Is running two counters of this type possible on a NI 9401?

ReliabilityMan, it looks like you're using the same module with two different tasks, one of which is reserving the hardware when the second tries to request it. I believe it should be possible, let me try and find some good examples for you. Any more context you can provide for your application would be useful as well.
