How to know the sampled data number in buffered counter frequency measurement?

Hi,

I used buffered frequency measurement similar to the "Dig Freq-Buff-Cont-Large Range 2 Ctr" sample, but I would like to know how many data has been put in the buffer if I set the buffer to be big, say 1000. Which function should i use?

Thanks.

Hi David,

It looks like you have already answered your own question.  In case anyone out there has the same question, you can read the number of samples available in the read buffer using a DAQmx Read Property Node.  The property that you will need to read is "Available Samples Per Channel", located under "Status".
