CLD, Changing Boolean Mechnical Action

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello All,

I have noticed in the CLD sample exams that typedefed (boolean) controls are provided with a default mechanical action. The provided solutions changed that. Should I keep the given mechanical action of a boolean control? What if changing it will better meet the given specs?

I attach a sample picture from the Boiler sample test. The start button is better to latch?

You are allowed to change the mechanical action of the boolean. However, you must be sure that this does not change the overall functionality of the button in regards to the larger application requirements.

Cheers,
Daniel
