Hello all,

I am planning to give CLAD exam on early 2019. Is syllabus of CLAD 2019 is same as syllabus of CLAD 2018.? other suggestion is always welcome.

I'm pretty sure the CLAD hasn't changed significantly in a decade.

Actually it's been changed in 2017 : https://forums.ni.com/t5/Certification/CLAD-CERTIFICATION/m-p/3650767#M3100

I can't tell how "significantly" as I haven't checked the CLAD since I passed it, however 2018 and 2019 syllabus should be the same 🙂

Biggest thing is they added questions for DAQmx (sticks in my mind that about half of the questions were supposed to be DAQ related).  But nothing has really changed to the CLAD since then.

I can speak on the magnitude of change.  I did a technical review of the prep material.

Array manipulation is covered well,  file types are compared and contrasted.  DAQmx is used extensively as an API usage vehicle.

Each of those skills are valuable to a CLAD.
