Has anyone looked at this questions? The suggested answer is D.

The correct answer however should be: B and D.

In B - The Build Array has concatenated inputs and therefore just produces one trace, Sinewave 5Hz followed by Sinewave 1Hz.

The answer is definitely D.  There are two plots in the graph.  Therefore you need a 2D array.  Notice with B that the output of the Build Array is a 1D array.  It has been configured to "Concatenate Inputs".

So since we know the output must be a 2D array, A and B are eliminated as possible answers.  C will add additional data (using Insert Into Array), so it cannot be the answer.  So we are left with D.
