I'm thinking about prepping to take the CLA some time in the spring. Besides taking the practice exam and reviewing sample solutions, any thoughts?
I've heard conflicting advice on overall strategy for the CLA. Some recommend going very top-level with architecture; others suggest making sure you have a lot of detail on at least one module. It seems people have passed using both strategies, but do the graders prefer one or the other?

The idea is to create an architecture. That is the important thing. Setup the VIs to perform the communitcation. Then document the heck out of all the modules to tell people what to do. My problem during the exam was trying to code too much. I almost ran out of time because I coded too much.
I can't emphasize it enough: document, document, document!
