Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
Hardware Test Engineer skilled in Test Equipment and Interface Test Adapter (ITA) design and interfacing with test equipment. Knowledgeable in "C" using NI TestStand, LabView and/or LabWindows/CVI development environments desired. This position requires the ability to develop and document system, hardware, and software specifications in support of the development, integration, testing, and fielding of hardware. Must have an understanding of electronics testing methods. Requires knowledge of industry wide tests and testing equipment. Works under little to no supervision. Produces test engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Creates and performs integration and test plans for Test Equipment validation/verification. Provides schedule status updates to project manager. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. This position is expected to work under only general direction. 4-6 years related experience.
