ahhhh ok. So I would need an external CD reader for the install.

That would be the approach I would use,  Of course I usually keep 2 Extrenal drives around for things such as these

An easier way is to copy the install dvd's to a USB drive. Then install directly from the USB drive.

I make a folder with the same name as the DVD volume that I am copying. (ex. 2013DS2DVD1_ENG, 2013DS2DVD2, 2013DS2DVD3, and DCD-Aug13-1)

The other option is to create an executable for your project and a LabVIEW installer to install your program, the LV core and drivers you need. I use this if I want to control the source changes (even from myself).

I find the install is much faster from the USB vs a DVD drive.
