Hi,

This is an amazing video, could you describe where and what the NI hardware is? If you have an pictures of the actual hardware in relative to the test that would be great too!

Brian,

We use an assortment of NI hardware including compact field point, compactDAQ (cDAQ-9188), and PXI chassis and hardware. It all depends on the test design and desired data.

We now keep most of our DAQ hardware in an ISO shipping container that is roughly 250 ft. from these large scale explosions. We sometimes deploy ethernet compactDAQ chassis in the field in small steel enclosures.

We have at times, recorded 1.5 psi shock waves at the "Data Hub" that holds our NI hardware.
