What is interesting is that they are scrambling up the characters using some script looking fonts, perhaps to hide the word that is actually being used from the spam filters.
If a script L is a different character code from a regular L, then it perhaps isn't being recognized as a spam word.

More moderators can help, but since this is an NI owned board, I suspect they need to be NI (or lithium?) people.
Other boards give that power to trusted power users too, so make every proven zealot (and the knigths) a mod.

:nod
Every other board i'm on has a team of volunteer moderators (i'm a mod/admin on several boards) who take care of spam/abuse/posting-to-wrong-board/etc.
Some boards have better admin/mod tools than others (Anyone used "huddler" forums? They're terribad. :barf). Don't know what capabilities Lithium has, but if it's a matter of manpower to stay on top of the report queue it's something to consider.

And to make matters worse, the phone numbers are a scam!

Obviously, the new filters are not working. Hopefully somebody at NI will get to this before Monday morning. 😮

Yes, he's up to 231 posts in five hours. Obviously, the forums are not monitored on weekends. (the earlier spam swarm late on Friday night was eliminated very quickly though).
I wonder what the new filters are. A drop word of "O8932OOO555" (yes, these are capital O's, not zeroes) would have blocked them easily.

It seems that your voice has been heard, Gerd: The long list of girl's names starts disappearing... Let's hope that all of the other spam will disappear soon, too.

Now the user is nicknamed "dimple010"... (already moderator notified)
Seems quite hard to setup a filter looking for mixed ASCII / unicode headers, including phone numbers, (probably) originated in MiddleEast or India, and posting every minute...
