Took over a project with about 650 VIs.
The former programmer created references for every single front panel GUI objects.
There are about 100.
He bundled the references together into a cluster and passes that cluster to 10 subVIs of the main VI.
Those 10 subVIs passes that cluster to all of the subVIs in the project.
He then proceeds to close those references in the subVIs.
I will be lucky to get this code to work to test the various hardware components much less write a complete program to be compiled for the TPC 2230.
