Why, Thats a "Rabbit in a hat!"  Its presented to prospective candidates for NI Certification as an NI Certified LabVIEW Consultant (Without any documentation) and, pulling the rabbit out of the hat is the final exam criteria for admission into that select group!

Old school I am much better with....

 

A rubber glove in a .... looks like the recease that used to be used on the back of speaker cabinets so the phone plug could fit in and still sit flush against a wall...

The height is around the same height of a 33 cl soda can.
It's diameter is (except for the bottom of the hat) much smaller.

A tip:

The hat itself contains objects that become visible by pulling the rabbit out of the hat.
