Even worst, searching for a problem then finding a thread where OP has the same exact problem.  Then OP replying "Oh never mind I figured it out".

Q: How can I plot 1st column of excel sheet if I am having total 10 columns??

A: Same as you would having any other number of columns as long as the count is >1!!

Disappointed that @altenbach did not add these to his list.

 

  1. VIs that are larger than postage stamps. (He did say this, just not using that verbiage.)
  2. VIs that don't contain complex math, numbers, or functions.

I'll admit, I'm regularly amazed at the clever uses of the "Complex" palette that he comes up with.

 

Normal forum post:  "Hi, I need to do this analysis and am having issues"

altenbach:  "Duh, just use this <obscure complex math function I would never have thought of using in 100 years>
