Changing a linked input tunnel into an output makes a VI unsaveable due to a "LabVIEW Save error code 5: BD Heap" error.

Use of angle brackets in the Build Specification Description for and FPGA build causes error when building because the description is being interpreted as an HTML tag.  Angle brackets should be disallowed or escaped internally.
