LabTOONS, The secret life of LabVIEW objects!

Ha! These are awesome!  My favorite is the one about the block diagram object that gets lost on the front panel.

OK, today we take it simple and easy, but tomorrow we will become deeply philosophical again. 🙂

Is that considered a "long-distance call"? 😉

Yeah, these are good.  My favorite is the scary campfire story.  🙂

They don't take much time, because the graphics are just cut&paste. I did the last 5 or so in one quick session over the weekend.
The critical part are the ideas. I have a little text document where I add ideas as they come to mind.

Trust me, just reading posts here is a never ending source for ideas! 😮

Anyway, I have one more drawn and 5 more in the text queue, so I don't anticipate any buffer underflow anytime soon. 😄

Maybe I should get one of these personal voice recorders so I can record my ideas on the run.

I just saw the 80s movie Night Shift on Cable, Early Ron Howard. Young Michael Keaton (Bill) carries around an walkman recorder for this crazy ideas 🙂

Bill: OK, here's an example. Watch out, stand back.
[speaks into tape recorder]
Bill: This is Bill. Idea to eliminate garbage: edible paper. You see, you eat it, it's gone. Eat it, it's out of there!

Bill: What if you mix the mayonnaise in the can, WITH the tunafish? Or... hold it! Chuck! I got it! Take LIVE tuna fish, and FEED 'em mayonnaise! Oh this is great.
[speaks into tape recorder]
Bill: Call Starkist!

Night Shift.  Is that the one where Henry Winkler and Michael Keaton run a prostitution service out of a morgue?  That was hilarious.

Here's the last one for May. It combines a typical dataflow beginner mistake with a well known series of Verizon commercial (probably US only, sorry).

Unfortunately, the "network" seems to be down in this case. 😄
