LAVA BBQ NI Week 2015
Hey all, the LAVA BBQ tickets are available for those going to NI Week this year.

For those that don't know, or maybe havn't gone to NI Week or the BBQ, here's the run down. NI Week is Monday through Thursday. Monday is Alliance Day and if you aren't an Alliance partner you probably won't be there Monday. There are things for Non-Alliance members to do like the Academic Forum, but my point is the conference isn't into full swing until Tuesday.
Tuesday evening is the first night that the conference is at full capacity, and Tuesday night for the past several years LAVA has thrown a BBQ. The idea was to get some personal time NI R&D, and meet some of your online colleges that maybe you've never met in person before. It is usually a gathering of 100-200 people where we can eat and drink and have fun, discussing nerd topics.
Expect good Texas BBQ, good social networking opportunities, and some free prizes given away! Each year community members are encouraged to bring a door prize to be given away. Included in the cost of the ticket is a single entry for a door prize, and all the BBQ you can eat. All extra money taken in goes towards running and maintaining LAVA.
