For those of you that aren't aware, GDevCon is the independent graphical programming (LabVIEW) conference - our first conference took place in Cambridge (UK) last year with over 130 attendees and over 12 hours of recorded LabVIEW content which you can find here: GDevCon#1 YouTube Playlist. The conference is open to anyone regardless of LabVIEW certification level but to get the most out of the content we suggest that you're at around CLD level and/or are actively developing LabVIEW applications and/or have a few years of experience.
Following the success of the first event, we've been hard at work preparing for GDevCon#2 and if you're following us on Social Media or signed up to our mailing list - you'll know that tickets for GDevCon#2 went on sale last Friday but I'm posting here to make sure that users of the NI Forums don't miss out.
Location: Unique Venues Birmingham, UK
Date: 21st & 22nd August 2019
Price: £275+VAT (£330 including UK VAT) for two days of LabVIEW content + lunches / evening meal on the 21st
The new venue is in the centre of Birmingham so there's lots to see and do in the area as well as great transport links to the rest of the country and abroad (short train from Birmingham Intl. airport). We can also seat up to ~200-220 attendees, allowing us to grow further as we reached the capacity of our venue last year (and if you've been following us from the beginning, you'd know that we changed to a larger venue after tickets went on sale for last years event!).
We're also still looking for presentation submissions (submit yours here!) which can get you a free ticket* as well as additional sponsors to help us fund the event (we rely on ticket sales & sponsorship to be able to put on the event) - you can see our current sponsors for #2 and find out how to join them here.
Hope to see you there for another two great days of community driven LabVIEW content!
*as long as your presentation is accepted and meets a certain length criteria, you can get a free ticket or your ticket refunded if you have already purchased
We have now published our list of presenters and presentations for GDevCon#2 - you can see the list here: https://www.gdevcon.com/agenda
As you can see, it's a great and varied set of presentations & presenters so get your ticket now
