We are a new team this year. We have built some of the sample robots- line follower and arm and gripper and downloaded the sample programs. We have double and triple checked the wiring, etc. and all the components show up in the right place on the schematic. We have been unable to get the line follower to follow the line. The read-out on the light sensor is initially above 50 and drops to 34 when a line is crossed. If we just do part 1 of the program it stops on the line as indicated in the program. When we try part 3 though it just spins in one direction and doesn't seem to change from right to left inorder to follow the line.
Any suggestions of what to try next? the motors are working and we can move it forward with a joystick.
