Highlighted

Hi,

I am looking for low cost image frame grabbers for use with labview. Please suggest some as I intend to use them in motion analysis application.

Look forward to hear from you all

Probably the lowest cost approach is to skip the frame grabber and go with a FireWire or GigE camera (or even USB if performance is good enough).  Here's a good article to help choose the right bus: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5386

Dear Amanmeet,

Another alternative is using a CompactRIO with an analog frame grabber such as the AF-1501 (US $495).

This frame grabber is compatible with all NI Vision VIs.

Here is a getting started tutorial for the frame grabber: http://www.movimed.com/af1501-frame-grabber-quick-start-tutorial.htm

Best,

Markus Tarin
