Dear NI Community,

Here is an example of filtered backprojection, using a set of 1d projections to reconstruct a 2d image, such as from older computed tomography systems.

This was homework from Optics 638, a graduate class in medical imaging form the University of Arizona, taught by my advisor A. Gmitro and utilizing the textbook:

I notice there is some "tuning fork artifact" so if you fix it, please post a correction.
