In this keynote talk, Dr. Ivo Bolsens, CTO of Xilinx talks about how FPGAs have helped the physics community over the years to push the boundaries of performance and capacity. Dr. Bolsens also covers a new category of programmable architecture with an ARM core processor and XIlinx FPGA called the ZYNQ. He concludes the presentation by convering the different system design methodologies and tools that can help the domain experts.
