I was wondering what is your take on LabVIEW project outsourcing? Did you consider it at some point as end-customer or consultant, and would you estimate that the market is large enough to make it worthwhile (other than sensitive projects in the military and/or energy sectors)?
For a sense of context, I lead the LabVIEW Academy program at the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest and also own an industrial automation company.
Especially in Romania, IT and software outsourcing has been booming over the last years, on a broad range of complexity from support-related services to product development. I'm currently analyzing if this is a path worth following when I get back home.
