Standalone here means to if a supplier is developing the product independently.

Integrated means when 2 different supplier are involved in developing a system.

Integrated when multiple supplier are involved.

Need to understand the topic in detail, which Architecture is best and what are the pros and cons of each.

Would you be able to give any examples of these architectures? I am unfamiliar with the area, however if there are examples that you have I could give pros and cons of each with respect to the areas I'm familiar with.
