Not able to read data from vehicle CAN

Hello all,

I am working on CAN with SAM controller. I am using PCAN USB tool for checking whether my CAN driver is working or not and it is working for both transmit and receive. I wanted to read data like vehicle speed, engine RPM,etc using my board via OBD connector present inside CAR. First I connected PCAN USB to  OBD of vehicle and I requested data with proper frame format and I successfully got the output. same I wanted to do without PCAN USB tool and instead I am using my board When I am requesting data response not coming. what could be the reason please help.

More information is needed.  What's the wiring like?  Is there differences from when it is working to when it isn't?  Do you have an independent CAN logger you can put on the bus?  Then you can look at the traffic of when it is working, and compare it to when it isn't.  Do you have code to share?  What hardware are you using with what drivers?  What version of LabVIEW / NI-CAN / XNet / Windows?
