I have a NI 9866 card that I use to communicate LIN to some actuators. Everything works well most of the time. However, occasionally I will get a red error lights on the NI 9866 module, and the only way to fix it is to remove the DB-9 and plug it back in. I am not sure why this is the fix. I reset the modules and get green indicators on NI Max, but the 9866 module is still in an error state until the cable is removed and reinserted into the 9866. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
