I want to make a real time CAN connection with my XNET device and an FPGA CAN IP core (on Altera DE2-115 board). I am using a cRIO 9022 with NI 9113 chassis with NI 9862 C module. My devices are working properly and are visible in MAX.
For making the connection happen, I decided to do a loopback test on harware on the loop. I used Labview CAN loopback example but it failed. I know that I have to modify that file or I should begin by making a VI for a simple Read and Write from both devices. but since there are different Input and Output sessions and my other device in not a NI device and the loopback VI looks pretty complicated, I need some help!
I appreciate if you can guide me through the preliminary steps.
Thanks

I do not understand what you are trying to do. Could you provide a scheme of your connections or sth like that?

Dear George,
I attached a scheme of my project. please notice that the CAN controller and NIOS 2 processor are in FPGA.
Thank you
