CAN RECEIVE VI

Hi guys,

i'm working with the CAN RECEIVE VI, i got the readings i save them in a proper form but my problem is that i can not make this VI start and stop automatically. FOr example i want to receive frames every 2 hours for 30 seconds.

Hi diakrina,

What you would need to do is embed your program into another VI that will run and keep track of a fixed time and run your program based on the specified timing commands. Here is a VI that is a good representation of what I am talking about. It's not perfect but it shows the concept. Let me know if you have any concerns or questions.
