Received this error message when trying to run a program written in Labview 8.6 for earlier CAN i/o that worked fine until a dual port PCI CAN board was fitted that needed XINET.

I have Max 5.1 installed with Can 2.7.3 and XNET 1.5 with the earlier can support installed as per the NI migration document. Carried out a search on this error but cannot find anything.

The header of the message is:- "Error -1074384579 occurred at CAN initialize.vi"

and then:-

"NI-XNET (Hex 0xBFF6313D) The object name contains unsupported characters. The name musr=t contain just alphanumeric characters and the underscore, but cannot begin with a digit. The maximum size is 128".

Sorted, a couple of underscores were missing between description words in CAN database. Strange that it worked with previous setup?
