Some basic version control information

Tonight, Joe presented some info about Subversion.  There are other options and each has their advantages and disadvantages.  A couple years ago, I set out to pick a version control system and the following series of blog posts cover my research and testing trying ot choose what I wanted to use.  I have since changed from Bazaar to Git and need to add a new post about that.  The main reason is that Bazaar went into maitenance mode and I decided to switch to something that was going to stay active.

Subversion Edge (the server Joe demonstrated tonight) did not exist when I did this testing, so all server comparisons are NOT the server the Joe demonstarted.
