Management of 2^10 AF Message icons

Solved!
Go to solution

I often group all messages for a common purpose (or for a common module) into a polymorphic VI with selector visible.  That way I can get away with a single graphic icon and the text of the selector.  It serves as my Factors for messages if you will.  It also means a little bit of work maintining the polymorph VI but then provides only a single VI to copy when looking for a new message to send.

Just me preference at the moment.

Shane.

David, you can get the XML file at:

http://digital.ni.com/express.nsf/bycode/exvefe

As you already know, the zip file containing the icons can be downloaded from:

http://digital.ni.com/express.nsf/bycode/ex98bv

I have reproduced the issue and filed CAR 368087 to track it.

Thanks. That worked, but I didn't get any new AF glyphs from it.

I've asked The Powers That Be to investigate why the 2012 glyphs aren't online yet.

The LV 2012 glyphs are now in the online .zip file, so you can sync them into your older LV versions.
