i have bought a myrio and would like to start the topic FPGA with a slightly ambitious idea.
I want to read the HDMI-signal from our FireTV-Stick, filter the stereo audio signal and send a 8channel audio signal including the video-signal to my av-receiver. My audio setup consists of 4 2-way speakers (8channels) i want to filter and crossover.
Does any one have any experience with HDMI to i2s converter or anything like this (https://www.ebay.de/itm/253942341747)?

Then i just would need an digital audio output (open for any ideas).
If this works, i would like to add an Web-Application for configuring the filters at runtime with any mobile device (e.g. mobile phone).
Are there any examples for something like this project?
