Possible to connect the myRIO to a router via USB-to-Ethernet cable?

Is there a possibility to use adapters other than ASIX chipset? How can we design/develop a driver for some specific chip? I am interested in Corechip Semiconductor Inc.

Hi Mumarmasood,

Thanks for reaching out. I couldn't find any documented cases of Corechip Semiconductor chipsets with myRIO, however I found a driver for these adapters:

https://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/corechip/usb

Do you want your adapter to do something different from this? Or are you wondering if this driver will work with myRIO?

Admittedly, we don't have much experience here with these adapters, so you may need to do a bit of experimentation. Finally, if you want more visibility, you should make a new post since this post is relevant, but pretty old.
