pmod accelerometer

why is external digilent pmod accelerometer used more instead of the myrio onboard acceleroemeter , what is the difference between these two ??

Hi Vanga,

 

Here's the datasheet for the myRIO-1900 accelerometer:

And here are the specs for the Pmod:

The Pmod also has up to 12 bits of resolution. What are you trying to do with your application? The benefit of the myRIO accelerometer would be that it's already on the myRIO, and would be easily accessed in LabVIEW.

Hello Bdog,

My project right now is to measure the whole body vibrations of a motorbike. So, which one is better for measuring vibrations , the myrio onboard accelerometer or the Pmod accelerometer.
