Measuring ECG with MyRIO

1. Can we connect ECG Monitoring Electrodes to MyRIO using analog inputs?  

2. and then using software amplification instead of OP-amps?

3. What is the best approach to collect PQRST values?

1. This will all depend on the output voltage of there sensors.

2. You could amplify the signal in software but if the signal is too small you might have problem with resolution, you would want to use the full range of the ADC in myRIO to see something usefull.

3. I would suggest a analog input device for this, and make sure the signal is either already maximum of the range of ADC or pre amplify it before converting it to the digital domain.

I need some information about connecting MyRIO with ECG sensor. 
What are the minimum and maximum values of ECG sensor output ? Is it compatible with MyRIO?
