Problem with Pitch and roll in AR drone toolkit

Hello everybody,

Today I'm trying to fly with the AR drone in LV with the AR drone toolkit.

Vertical speed control, yaw control, hover control, emergency control, take off control, video streaming, navigation data are all working in my program.

But unfortunately there are problems with pitch and roll control. The drone gives no respons at all values I send.

I saw there were more people with the same problem, but I don't saw a solution.

My sequence in the program:

Init drone, connection

Loop:

Control drone (with watchdog functionality)

Read video data

Read navigation data.

If you know witch changes I need for the pitch/roll problem, please let me know!

I found the solution for this problem.

To fix this problem go to tools -> Options -> Front panel and disable Use localized decimal point.

Ok, don't forget to restart LabView to solve this problem.

And be sure that you use the right values for max pitch and roll.

ok, that's annoying.

Is it possible to control the vertical speed and yaw of the drone?

Be sure that you kick the watchdog at least 5 times per second.

I've Added The Tempo For Control The WatchDog And Suddenly...

It Works Now...

Hi guys, I used the same Toolkit but I had a the same problem of pitch and Roll control using joystick, could you please tell me how to kick the watchdog ?

m I supposed the make a delay in the watchdog subrutine ?

If you know witch changes I need for the pitch/roll problem, please let me know!

I have the same problem, I can change the vertical position anche the yaw angle but no the pitch and the roll. How can I change the WDT ? others solution?
