Haro3D version 2.0 is available now

Version 2.0 of the Haro3D library, that includes the Microsoft Hololens API for LabVIEW, can be downloaded now using VIPM.

Notice that version 2.0 is compatible with LabVIEW 2015 and later. Also, be aware that if you own version 1.x, downloading the free trial of version 2.0 on top of version 1.x might mess up your current license. It is better to install the free trial of version 2.0 on a different LabVIEW version, or a different computer, if it is your case.

Below is a first video showing how to use the library to control the Hololens. This first video shows how to start from a blank VI and how to manage connection events.

Below is a second video showing how to use the library to control the Hololens. This first video shows how to manage hold and text reponse events, and how to create 3D object.

The Haro3D app, required for the Hololens to communicate with LabVIEW, must be downloaded from the Microsoft store on the Hololens.

For those who do not own a Hololens, it is possible to use the emulator provided by Microsoft. Once installed, follow the instructions provided here to install the Haro3D application (search for Haro3D instead of Holotour).
