If you see that one of your buddies rating is lower than it should be, FIX IT. This is were one of the differences between the old Exchange and the new come into play. Becuase commnets could not be rated, we just had to sit back until someone posted an answer. Once the was an A posted, we could comment away free from any rating threat. The other plus in the old Exchange was that people could change a rating once they found out it was better than they first thought.<BR /><BR />I am a sucker for a challenge. I have stepped into those discusion were the low rating a flying and still carry the scars. The only crude hint at any calibrations is the tag "5<B>(best)</B>", but we cannot tell if one star is just a little shy "thank you" or a punitive "this answer really sucked!". The intent necessarily varies between raters and the interpretation varies between rateees. <span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":winking_face:">😉</span><BR /><BR />The only thing we really need is a boolean rating system: A single check-box labeled "excellent answer", a post is either highly rated or not rated. We still have a greyscale in the fact that truly excellent posts will receive more than a few ratings.
