I saw this on Reddit and thought some might appreciate it here. Some colorful language, but it is how you react to looking at old code.

First think I do is remove all those error in\error out terminals, wherever possible (and appropriate). Then class outputs unless something changed.

That's mostly >2 year old code though.

Reminds me of the old saying:

Good code is what I just wrote.
Bad code is what my coworker just wrote.

... and terrible code is what I wrote 6 months ago.
