I voted twice* 😄

*Not really. Dropped mine and my wife's mail in ballot (she is out of town) off at the voting place on Saturday. Nice neighborhood walk, no wait, in and out in 20 seconds.

Signed up for text notifications with the city and just got a text that my vote was received and will be counted. Let's see how many I got "right"... 😄

Did not want to use the car but there were some great alternative voting places here such as the Staples center, I was really tempted to vote at the just completed SoFi stadium.

Just how high can health care costs rise after you've been cremated? Don't get me wrong! I actually LIKED my Mother in law! But, do not believe that she cast a valid ballot this week.

Definitely not if it can be backed up with provable evidence. A two-sentence post in the breakpoint does not count. Otherwise it is just an inflammatory baseless rumor and there are already way too many of those floating around. 🙂

So are we discussing things or not? Because if so I have all kinds of articles I can link to where people claim there is evidence of fraud only be be put in front of a judge where they are told in lawyer speak that they don't have evidence or proof of anything. Talking to the media, tweeting things online, talking in a podcast, and posting things can be done pretty easily. But standing in front of a judge who is threatening to disbar you for lying, you suddenly straighten up.

A poll worker claimed to be a whistle blower stating that tampering was taking place. So investigators questioned him only for him to admit he made it up. Once in front of the public again he said he didn't make it up and created a GoFund me. Maybe there should be a Voter Fraud Commission...oh there was...oh they were disbanded when they didn't find any. Extreme claims require extreme proof. Not that it doesn't happen, not that it can't.

Obviously, she did NOT vote, because she is dead (can we agree on that?) Mechanically impossible.

That sentence is too vague to say anything:

Maybe she received a mail in ballot which was ignored?
Maybe there are some other people with that name?
How many people are in the information chain that finally ended up in the statement (see also).
Public information does not show which way anyone votes (dem, rep, etc.), so where did that metadata come from?
Maybe somebody mailed it in fraudulently (who???)
- It got rejected and did not count
- It passed the signature an all other verification checks and counted (really?)

We don't really care who "voted", just who's vote got legitimately counted. (similar stories from Michigan)

I am ok with letting the legal sytem do its thing.

My main concern these days is the way the country is breaking up into factions that threatens the very nature of the US.
