Hey

does somebode knows, if it is possible to upgrade the NI USRP-2900 with the ettus GPS-disciplined clock?

I know it is possible for the ettus B200, which is more or less equal to the NI USRP-2900.

Hi Max,

each NI-USRP has a 1 year warranty which will expire if the unit is being opened. NI-branded USRPs are underlying different processes than ettus branded hardware, and we support only unmodified NI-branded USRP boxes because of software integrity reasons. NI does not offer a modular approach for NI-branded USRPs. If GPS is needed, we suggest to buy the NI USRP-2930 and NI USRP-2932 which has the GPSDO features.

Despite these facts, I don´t see a reason why adding the GPSDO should not work. As I said, we are just not able to provide any support for such a modification.
