topic Strain gauge calibration Err% in Multifunction DAQ

Hi,

I'm using a strain gauge quarter-bridge system connected to a NI 9235 strain guage bridge module which is connected to a cDAQ 9171 connected to our computer to interface with LABVIEW 2021. Whenever calibrating the strain gauges within the DAQ assistant, the Err % values were relatively small (~0.01%), but now I'm getting an Err % that ranges from 10 - 50%. I've downloaded all the necessary drivers and followed the calibration procedure listed on the NI website for the cDAQ 9171 manual. NI MAX specifies that the device has been "Self-Tested" and working properly, I have two NI9235 and cDAQ 9171 devices and have already switched the devices and changed out my strain gauges but still receive similar Err % and not sure why this value is so high.

This system is still new to me and I don't fully understand how the calibration works within the DAQ assistant. I could use help with understanding the system better and why the calibration is not working properly anymore.

Thank you for any help you can provide.
