Hi,
I'm using a cRIO 9074 and I want to comfirm a question. I have Ethernet Adapter eth1 set to a Static IP address while Ethernet Adapter etho (Primary) is set to DHCP. I've performed the IP Reset from the dip switch...Switching it on then rebooting the system. When I've pulled up MAX i've noticed that Ethernet Adapter eth1 is still set to its Static IP. I want to confirm that this is suppost to happen.
In other words does the IP Reset Switch only reset the Primary Adapter?

Also is there anyway of changing Ethernet Adapter eth1 outside of MAX?

Hello,
Depending on the part number of the cRIO, setting the IP reset dip switch to ON and restarting will either result in the cRIO having a 0.0.0.0 address or it will try to initiate a DHCP server connection. If the DHCP connection fails it will default to a link local 169.254.X.X address. More information can be found on page 10 of this product manual.
You can change the IP address of the cRIO programmatically as well. Please review this example on how to change the IP address programmatically.
Regards,
