Just wanted to point out that FPGA Compile Farm and Cloud Compile are not good examples of multi threaded compiler. They are still limited by Xilinx compiler which is single threaded. These two options only benefit multi-user, multi-compile scenario. Not for single users who are faced with hours of compile time.
I can easilly beat (by significant margin) Compile Farm and Cloud Compile by using Intel Turbo Boost feature and avoiding the Compile Worker to jump among the multiple cores.
