I don't do any special formatting for time controls, so yes, the system formatting is going to apply.
I'm talking about formatting a time/date into a string so that it is part of a message that a user sees on screen. So something like "6/1/11 2:33 pm. The machine shut down due to high temperature."

I am rading from file and first col. is Date and time. but when I format useing LV to date and time it gives 1904 year month date and time. I try with xls it changed to 13/04/2015 9:48:43.
How to format Date and time in to first col. in labview?

That being said: You need to convert that Excel time value to a LabVIEW time value.
Search for "Excel LabVIEW time conversion" here in the forum and you will find ready-to-use VIs and explanations about the algorithm used!
