HI Phillippe,

Are the settings on the WSN 3212 set for a K type thermocouple and did you deploy the settings once changed?

Does the value change when the thermocouple is heated or cooled, or is it always -273?

If you short TC+ and TC- of a channel with a short wire what reading do you recieve?

If you disconect a thermocouple or the wire from a channel what does it read?

Cheers,

The DIO of the node is OK (read and write)

Philippe,

It sounds like the WSN 3212 thermocouple channels are functioning however the cold junction calibration is severely off. Please call the National Instruments support line for your area and have them set you up an RMA. The calibration cannot be changed in the field so must be sent back to correct.

Cheers,
