How to accuire thermocouple based temprature DAQ USB 6009

I have got a USB DAQ card 6009. can someone tell me the pin configuration for the thermocoule i.e diffrential or RSE. Also I attached J type thermocouple but nothing is shown.
 
Pls Guide me.

Hi,

When you are acquiring data from a thermocouple, all you are doing is acquiring a voltage and then converting that voltage into a temperature. You can connect your thermocouple in either Differential or RSE mode and everything should be fine. Here are links to tutorials about field wiring and thermocouple measurements:
